Forty Fifth Stop Chau Doc

We arrived in Chau Doc on the 14th July. It is a small town in Vietnam just over the Vietnam boarder. There is not much there to do or see in the town its self but it sits on the Mekong River which has a floating village on it. To get the full effect we decided to get the boat from Cambodia to Vietnam in true Apocalypse Now style. It was quite surreal because everywhere looked so familiar from the movies, but instead of being under fire we were greeted by hundreds of smiling, little kids waving at sporadic intervals along the river.

We got up early the next day and visited the fish farms and a minority village. In the afternoon we made our way to Ho Chi Minh City?
