Currently laying on beach at Hippies bar (which has become our regular haunt). Today we spent our third day with the girls we met on our first night, they're a good laugh and it's been fun few days.

Yesterday we had a chilled drink and watched footie while the girls got their tattoos (they were v nervous - was glad I rethought getting another tattoo!). Then we all went for quick drink together at the rooftop bar which is very cool but the frozen daqueris were rancid! We had an early night (well 12.30) and agreed meet early for breakfast.

Today we hired a long tail boat between the four of us for a half day tour around the surrounding islands. Went to monkey island (or something like that) where there were monkeys on the beach. We didnt get too close as some guys were teasing the monkies, but was quite funny when the monkeys went for them and they screamed and ran like girls. We were all kind of hoping a rabid monkey would sink its teeth into one of them!

We then swam in the crystal clear waters of Maya Bay (from the film 'the beach') - although some guy came round to collect a 200 bhat fee for visiting the bay which we refused to pay as we were only there 15 mins, we finally gave him 100 each and made a quick getaway in the boat before we got arrested!

We went to see some caves and did a bit of snorkelling before coming back for one last drinks before the girls headed off for their boat to Railay.

Me and Robin have just been for a massive seafood dinner as the seafood here is amazing and they have it displayed outside the restaurants by the beach, ive been wanting to ho since we arrived. we had a huge crab, a whole snapper, mussells, giant king prawns and massive squid - Robin ate two prawns and I ate everything else as he's not keen on seafood!! Hopefully there wasn't anything dodgy in there as we're planning starting our PADI diving course tomorrow!
