Just got out of 4 hour cookery class, we made 5 dishes and some new friends and are currently chilling out in our favourite bar 'zoe in yellow' where a live band is playing and the waiter doesnt understand a word we say (but the cocktails are good - I had a few too many the other night and had to have McD fries for breakfast, very cultured I know).
Cookery class at Thai Baan school was loads of fun, there were some Austrians an Canadian and a couple of fellow Londoners. Myself and one of the girls from London nearly singed our eyebrows off in the first 5mins (they're not big on safety out here as you may have gathered from my last post!). I made cashew nut stir fry, patang curry which were amazing and a coconut milk soup and fish cakes which were slightly less amazing. Maybe I'll be bringing curry into work when I get back?!
We also booked a flight to Phuket, turns out Robins insistence on not planning anything didn't pan out so well (as usual!) so due to visas we are going to stay in Southern Thailand until dec then head to Cambodia (we think!).
Anyway, we'll be heading back to hotel soon as have a two day trek to southern mountains tomorrow where we'll be riding elephants, sleeping in a hill tribe village camp (which I'm trying not to think about!) and white water rafting. Will report back in a couple of days, wish me luck!
