Now, how to get 10 backpacks worth of stuff into one back pack...
It's the end of our 3 1/2 month adventure around Asia and I was finally allowed to shop! Meaning I've chucked away pretty much everything I bought on the trip with me to try fit it all in, including all of Robins things (although he hadn't realised his bag is full of silk sc…

re: Koh Phanang, ThailandFrances Having now read the 'why' for Robin's tattoo, no more will be said. Sounds so lovely there. Enjoy it the rest of your time there. Have a light covering of snow and arctic temperatures at present - something for you both to look forward to. Looking forward to seeing you both next week.
re: Ko Phangan, ThailandFrances (mum) Does 'bamboo tattoo' mean it's only temporary? I live in hope - and probably will die in despair.

re: photo from 25 January 2012Frances (mum) Shame about your sunburn, Tina, but it could be much worse. The weather here is grey, cold and miserable - everything we all love about the English weather. Enjoy the sunshine while you can. There's not much here. Guess my Caribbean blood never really got used to the English lack of sunshine. Glad to know Robin got some benefit from his though. Singapore sounded fantastic. Even better than I remember. Obviously Robin completely forgot that we had all been to Sentosa Island. As we were travelling he may have been asleep. No seriously he and Heather spend most of the day there riding around on rented bikes - lovely memories. Looking forward to seeing you both soon.

re: Halong Bay, Vietnammichelle c Haha - yes you should. That wine is rough as, though i don't quite recall it tasting off fish. May your drinks be more pleasant tasting from here on in. (you'll have to go for expensive exported wine for that to be the case in vietnam)
