Hey Everyone,
Been a few days since wrote you so thought would update you all with a few things that have been happening down under.
I'll start with some good news!! Me and Jules have now both got jobs!! And its at the same place!! It's working for a company called FlexiRent. They are a credit agreement company, best way to explain it is when you go to Currys/Dixons and you wanna buy a Tv or computer and you want it on credit and they ring up the credit people and they say if you can have it on credit, well I'm the person that decides that! It's a bit ironic that me with all my debts ends up deciding if people can have credit, hahahaha - "Computer Says No!!" hahahha.
It starts on Monday with 2 weeks training, am looking forward to it, altho it will be a little odd being back at work again after over 5 months not working, but have to admit I'm looking forward to the first payslip a hell of a lot more - its weekly paid YAY - I'll be doing the call centre bit, while Jules will be doing Settlements, not really sure what that is doing but I'm sure she'll write to you soon!
As you can see by the pictures I've just uploaded I've been appreciating art. Between Bondi Beach and Bronte there is an exhibition called funninly enough Sculptures By The Sea. Me and some mates went for a wander down there on Saturday, was a lovely day and very nice walk and some of the Sculptures were very cool, my personla faves were the melted ice cream van, the Less/More and the pot doing a poo hahahha. Was a great day and then got a wee bit tipsy on the night so was all good fun.
This week so far has been a bore, the past few days have seen THE most randomest weather in New South Wales for over a hundred years. We've had, Rain, Hail, Gale Force winds, Snow, Bush fires, Storms. This I might point out would be normal weather for you lot back home, but since we're about to come out of spring and into summer you think it would be a lot hotter - Sydney had its coldest November morning yesterday for a hundred years (6 degrees!!) But they are prediciting a VERY hot summer.
In sports News, The Ashes starts in a couple of days and boy am I sick of it already!!!!!!! Everytime someone picks up on the english accent they mention the ashes, all sports news is about the ashes, there's a ton of adverts about the ashes but you know what the worst thing is? It's the knowledge that somewhere in the great wide world, Neil Bridgewater is on his way here....I feel like crying!! Has he left yet???
In Seasonal News 'Tis The Season To Be Jolly soon, its hard to feel in the Xmas mood when the sun is shining and people are talking about fireing up the BBQ for xmas day, it seems unnatural and wrong but I suppose I could get used to it. Altho seeing the Xmas disply at David Jones (bit like Rackhams) is very creepy - lots of the mechanical dolls in the window singing and stuff - very Childs Play!!
In jealousy news, my friend Pete who's been here a bit of a while longer than me has just been told that the company he works for is willing to sponsor him to stay here for FOUR YEARS!!!!!!! can you believe it, am very very jealous and secretly hoping someone else offers me the same thing, guess we will have to wait and see!
And Finally, Film News. This won't apply to most of you that read this but for those few who have decided to go and pay actual english money to see BORAT The Movie (Mark/Gavin/Matt I'm looking at you!!!) then please repeat after me: "I am A Sad Loser That Wouldn't Know A Decent Movie If It Slapped Me In The Face!!!"
Anyway Sigining off now, hope hear from you soon!!!
