Having had enough of Brazil we made a last minute decision to leave. Our lonely planet told us that we need a tourist card to get across the Venezuelan border. We decided to get the bus to the Venezuelan consulate. Amougst the free for all and with our luggage we admitted defeat and hailed a taxi.
