Buzzing from the coffee from breakfast, we packed our bags and left them in baggage storage while Ray, Stevie and I ventured into Lima city. First stop was the main plaza. Where we saw old colonial buildings and a cathedral.
Hungry from our small breakfast we decided to look around a Mall for some food. This place was heaven, it had Subway, Burger King, KFC, the lot. On the way we noticed a sign that advertised Batman was released today. After we finished lunch we ventured straight to the cinema. I was so excited!!! We managed to see the first showing in Lima! The movie didn't disappoint it was amazing.
Refreshed from the movie we took a stroll and qwent to the museum of Lima Art. Most of the work was based on Baca-flor and pre-Columbian art.
After this we went for more food. A mixed grill that served different meats. Rays treat.
Back to the hostel we collected our bags and said our goodbyes to Ray.
Still hungry we had another cheeky KFC before boarding the bus.
On Boarding the bus Stevie could hardly contain her excitement, first we were finger printed, and then we discovered that the bus provided blankets and pillows....as we got settled in and just as Stevie calmed down the bus set off and a man on the bus started to hand out boxes that contained a ham-burger mini chocolate doughnut and sweets...Stevie nearly wet herself she was so excited. After a free tea and coke we got comfy and fell asleep watching a film....best bus ever!
We arrived in Nazca around 4.40am, an Arthur Daley taxi driver said he had a hostel and could take us. It was early so we agreed. It turned out that he use to work in the terrace bar in Brentwood. (small world) the first hostel was full, the second wanted S50 a night for a private room. We got him down to S40. Sorted. He also said he could book the Nazca lines for us. A little expensive we told him to comf back later, after Signing in we went to bed....
