Last night we fancied a curry so we ventured to Cozinha Aberta just off the main square. it was expensive but it was my Birthday after all and their curries where known around town. They didn't disappoint. So we didn't spend more then we had on us we worked out the bill several times before ordering, but when we came to pay it was more than we expected!! Panic!! I got Stevie to wait (counting the 10 cents) while I went back to the Pousada (hostel) for more money...

After an early 5.30am start, we are finally in Salvador. Ended up in Barra just 4km from vibrant Pèlo. The first several Hostels were full so we have ended up on the sea front ( Rua Oceania ) had a quick look around and now in a sea food restaurant. Have no idea what we ordered but it was nice once we 'fished' out the bones. Sitting outside watching the rain with a glass of Sol. Crazy drunk guy walking around shouting which is making Stevie feel a little uneasy....
