A relatively short drive today which completed our coast to coast. We went via the Cape Cross fur seal colony and along the Skeleton Coast to Swakopmund. We started the day with a visit to a local Himba village. Himba originated in the north of Namibia but the original white man who owned the land this village is in married a Himba woman and they started an orphanage. Some generations later there are two villages populated with approximately 6-8 men, 25 women and nearly 40 children. Early rising for our final official game drive of our African adventure. As we arrived at a waterhole we loved experiencing a super dazzle of zebra gathering to drink. Up early for a game drive. We were changing campsites within the national park so the whole day was about checking out the wild life and playing on the immense salt pan. Drove to Etosha National Park. The campsites were beautiful. Swimming pools and fantastic showers. Also watering holes that you can sit at and watch animals come to quench their thirst.
