The bus journey is going pretty fast, we have been on here three hours already! America is so vast though, we are going through the hills into the desert but everything close around us on the road is so flat! The sunset was cool, and the sky is aqua blue with bright read and orange clouds no photo is giving it justice I'm afraid though guys! There are odd trailer vans and motels dotted everywhere and we just went passed a really big retail park which looked like it should be a service station because there are no villages or towns in city anywhere! It's rather strange if I must say so myself!
It's chilly on the bus but not too unbearable like last time; still looking forward to the 20 minute put stop to stand outside in the heat! :)

Second half of the journey, the sun has gone down and now we are feeling the chill of the A/C! Couldn't wait to stop for 20 minutes to stand outside in the heat haha!
We went through a few lit up areas that is a tease for vegas really! Still in the middle of know where; but 9.35 still haven't arrived however I can see a MASSIVE glow in the distance.. VEGAS :)
We came in from the south end. We checked the bus routes online before we left the bus and there was a bus that took us straight up the strip. We were a little. Confused how to pay though, we couldn't get to the driver they had glass surrounding the front part of the bus so nobody could get to them, for drunk people I spect! We seen this little machine that said $6 for 2 hour pass and $8 for 24 hour pass on the bus.. How ridiculous! We counted up our spare change because the machines don't give you change, we only had enough for a 2 hour bus pass but that was a bit pricy for one ride as we weren't going back out tonight because of the early start. So we just sat and waited to see if anyone would pick up on it; there were 4 chinks that got on with us and hadn't bought a ticket. So when it came to our stop we jumped off and just made a quick run for it to our hotel up the strip a little.
It was so crazy! People everywhere, lights were blinding there were that many! Music blasting from all corners and you could even here the gambling machines in the casinos from the street! Carried our bags to the hotel, there was a women with the most noticeable fake breasts if ever seen (they were a different colour to her body - yuk!) she had trousers on split up the sides to her hips and stickers over her boobs just dancing to the music, haha funniest thing ever! Our hotel was weird, we went in through the doors on the strip and we were immediately in the casino which was strange! Couldn't find the lobby! So we asked and it was at the back of the hotel. Up to the room, level 10 Mardi gras tower! Our balcony over looks ceasers palace, the high roller Ferris wheel of our hotel and the pool! We went out to grab a bite to eat and then back to the room for bed! Up at 3am for GRAND CANYON!
