Not a fabulous night sleep again with the crick in the neck and Scott had a fee too many kicks in the back and head butts to get his head off my pillow through out the night. He also leaves the tele on really loud and hides the remote, more fool him because I constantly wake him up to turn it down so he's not getting very far with wanting to have the tele on and waiting until I'm asleep to wack the noise back up. I aint no dumb dumb Mr. Your going to suffer aswell!
We opted for the big famous waterfall to go to today, it was a 35km drive one way so we took the moped. We could barely get out of town, the roads were awful! They don't tend to lay concrete or Tarmac in the north or outside the main cities and towns, it's just thick sand and dirt that clings to you and turns you orange and apparently in Sen Monorom they dislike to remove boulders and rocks from the road,I've never seen an 'A' road like it! They're not exactly up to scratch! God help them in the rainy season! I really don't know how our bike survived it! The waterfalls were a good hours drive away, lots of stalls and food shacks about the place and then a very steep walk down the hill to the too waterfall, there were Cambodians everywhere because it's Sunday. So picnic day by the looks of things! The waterfall was like Niagara of Cambodia, the locals were all having fashion shoots around the falls as they do! The water was ice cold! We headed down to the bottom waterfall but the climb was ridiculous! It was literally vertical steps but you had to climb them like a ladder! And they wobbled a little, so if it collapsed there is no way we would get back up the mountain! We were the only ones down there for a while until two Cambodians came and had a picnic on the other side of the stream. This fall was I credible too, we jumped in one of the rock pools and the current was stupidly strong! So we had a bit of a work out of the arms trying to stay in the same place doing breast stroke! I had my Jesus sandals on this time around so I didn't have to touch anything gross with my feet! Haha.
We dried off in the sun for a while until we headed back to Sen Monorom for dinner, to pack our kit and have an early night! Well Scott didn't have such an early night because he stayed up to stream the rugby game between Wales and Scotland!
