Well Ive arrived in India safe and sound and in one piece. The flight was pretty uneventful tbh. I got through customs with a breeze and grabbed a taxi (Beford Rascal) lol.

We pulled out the airport and within 3 mins of being on the road,the driver pulled an emergency stop. I just thought, Welcome to India. :)

After a bit of a serach I found the hotel and met up with Anoushesh. Shes lovley, nags alot but who's complaining lol. I should explain, I met Anoushesh on travbuddy.com and we arranged to travel India together. She from Iran, which has had some funny responses, when you tell the locals that.

On the first night we went out looking for food and couldnt find anywhere either that you could eat from or could afford. So ended up at a petrol station buying sandwiches.

Well as you may know the Commonwealth games are on, which has created a few problems for us. When we tried to go and booked a train out of delhi it turns out everywhere is booked up full, till the 15th. :(

After a very long day of getting messed about with travel agents and taxi drivers, we finally found the Ministry of Tourism and they pointed us in the right direction. So we have booked a luxury bus to Jaipur for tomorrow, I know thats blown the budget already haha. I figure the further we get from delhi, the better it will get.
