Im in Agra now, just off to see the Taj Mahal soon :)

Anyway the last time I wrote I was on my way to Jaipur. This should have been a routine bus trip, however someone,(me) lost the tickets (oops). There was a bit of a panic at the depot but I managed to just pay a few rupees and get a duplicate ticket. Anoushesh has now banned me from carrying any tickets at all :( Im only responsible for the water haha.

We got to Jaipur and found a really nice hotel for 500 rupees, after the hotel in Delhi this place was paradise. Its called the Kaylan hotel. The city is really beautiful, the Amber Fort is just amazing, much to my disgust though, its on top of a hill. Its an amazing site, they have walls just like the ones at The Great Wall of China. We also saw the Hava Mahal and City Palace.

The last thing we saw was Monkey temple which as you can imagine has lots of monkey living around it. Its a Hindu Temple of top on yet another hill. Anoushesh insisted on getting some nuts to feed to them. So as we head up the hill we found two monkeys, the first one saw the bag and decided that it wanted the whole lot. Anoushesh's face was a picture, she stood there and watched as this cunny monkey ate his prize to his self. lol. The temple itself was beautiful and got invited in by a Hindu lady. She explained about the temple and showed us the the sights. We had a long chat about Indian culture and what Hindu's believe in. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax for a while.

India is an amazing country, its growing on me, I did find it hard going at first as everyone and i mean almost everyone, tries to rip you off. But for how much you spend and the experiences you have its hard to beat i would say. Its very demading as well, a billon people means finding somewhere outdoors to relax is hard. For that I do miss Spondon haha.

Im now in Agra. I have to say that Agra fort train station is the smellest place on this planet. Im feeling sorry for my nose at points :) We have just seen the Agra Fort which was good and had great views of the Taj Mahal. Just killing time at the moment so we can go and see the Taj at sunset. The train is booked for tonight to take us to Varanasi.
