Sorry I have taken so long to update you.
Roy always likes to have a little to do besides go around and have fun all the time.
So we do workcamping or workaway jobs from time to time.
It is volunteering for different projects and they give you a place to park the camper, or sometimes
a place to stay. Sometimes they feed you if you are doing a lot of work.
We had been in touch with a workaway host when we started to Mexico. We let them know about
where we were as we traveled. Then just before we get to Oaxaca they inform us that they will
be in the states for 10 days. Well it turned out that was a good thing for us, we had both had the flu
separately, and it was 7 days before both of us felt well enough to go explore. So we ended up having about 6 days of catching buses all over Oaxaca and exploring. Now the trick to buses is not so much knowing where you want to go , but in figuring out what bus you need to get on to get back !
Our host calls and says she will meet us about 9:30 tues, morning. Then we follow here to her place. Let me tell you trying to follow a person that has been in Mexico for 20 years, is an adventure. We went right and left and around corners and passing, thur alomost red lights( and the policia right beside us.) Then we start up into the hills, the roads get narrower and in places brush is close on both sides of the pickup. We are starting to wonder what we were getting into.
The thing about life, we have found, is if you never step out and take a chance, you just might miss a whole lot of living.
For this story, we are doing workaway and we get a place to stay------What a place!!
When she opened the gate------Paradise!!
