We decided to go to San Blas and stay a few days with the Kuna people.Made arrangements to catch a small plane to the islands.Went to the airport, checked our bags and got on.The pilots got on fiddled around with something for abit. We decided to take the train to Colon Panama. They said it was lovely. Did not really plan on seeing Guten Locks but when we got off the train you had to wait for a return train or take a taxi to a bus to take you back. As we got off the train a mountain of a guy asked if we wanted a tour. Then proceeded to talk us into it. Said he would be our body guard and guide. He was great! Totally enjoyed the tour. Seen old forts the locks,some of the city of Colon .

We were a bit disappointed by Christmas.Panama does not decorate like the USA and we did miss that.There was some decorations and a few small nativity parades from the churches. But Christmas seems to be a large family time in Panama. We did visit an outdoor festivity in a small town that was fun.Now New Years is a different story.As you walk along you see these stuffed people everywhere.
