Got to the campground early afternoon.
Set up everything for a couple of days stay.
Met a couple from Regina Canada, Had a great visit!

Then we had unexpected guest, very noisy and loud!!   How rude!!
But oh so cute,

Then to Palenque this pyramid was great . There are 4 major pyramids here in Central America.
This is one of them.

But I have to admit that as great as this was, we enjoyed the jungle path most!!
You walk around all these structures and sweat, sweat sweat, Not use to this humidity and heat.
We had heard about a jungle path but did not know where it was and thought you needed a
guide. Really enjoyed climbing up everything. But was sure warm.

When we were ready to go back we noticed a sign that said exit so thought it might be a shortcut home.

Wow!! You start walking in to a dense jungle atmosphere. Then it just gets better.
you step down steps, walk thru tarzan cords hanging down from trees. Listen to birds.

Then the waterfalls start!! And more and more! This is called the "Queens bathing path" (or something like that).

With a bit of imagination I can sure see alot of women enjoying these bathing ponds-----I sure wanted to go for a dip
