We arrived at Surfer's Paradise to be greeted by Chrissy, Clair's friend from home.  We took a walk around Surfer's Paradise and had our very first Gelati (ice-cream) it was lovely.  We headed back to Chrissy's parent's house where Keith her Uncle cooked us our first home bbq .

Next day we went to Broadwater with Kirra their Jack Russell.  We had a lovely walk along the beach and then headed to Currumbin Beach for a swim in the ocean.  The current was really strong, you didn't have to do much to move .  We cooked home made Pizza with some of Chrissy's friends and Sister, Bells.  We then headed for a night out in Surfer's and what a night it was.  First of all we got in free to one of the Clubs and a drink coz the girl's went to school with the bouncer.  It had a funky dance floor like Saturday Night Fever.  We then headed to a Cheesy bar called 'The Avenue' where a local decided to buy us a bottle of 'Moet' Champagne .

Next day we headed up to the Q1 building which is the tallest residential building in the world.  The views were stunning and we learnt a bit of history about surfers which was really intresting.  That night we had Fish and Chips at Burliegh Heads, it was lovely the views were amazing and the moon was a rusty orange.  I tried the fish Dory it was delicious!

On the Sunday we went to Seaworld. it was great fun, we got to see very smelly penguins!!!  Dolphins, Polar Bear's, Sealion's, Pelicans and lots of scary Sharks!!!  We were brave enough to go on some scary rides, like the Corkscrew and the Burmuda Triangle.  We also got soaked on the log ride!  We headed to Mount Tambourine the next day which was a lovely drive we also got to see the Curtis Falls.  Then had lunch in Sanctuary Cove and visited Hope Island.

It was lovely to stay in a home for a while, we got plenty of good grub and lots of hugs from Dianne Chrissy's mum!  It made us miss you all lots!  Next stop Byron Bay for a few days and then we will head to Sydney for some work.  The holiday is nearly over
