Our trip to Malaga was nearly put on hold as we were not being let on the bus due to apparently not having the right ticket. We managed to get the right ticket and piss off the bus driver as we had held him up along with everyone else on board. This had pissed myself off as well but once on the bus and realising we had screens in front of us I managed to settle down. Once again as we got to Malaga we had a reasonable walk ahead of us, we got to the hostel to find nothing really as the owner was not there and we had to sit on the steps and wait. Check in then it was out for a walk which we grabbed a couple of ice creams and had them in front of the massive cathedral. Back to the hostel for a snooze then we were off again this time to the beach where we had some beers at a beach front restaurant. Another quick beer in the main square then back to the hostel for bed time.
I managed to sleep until around 11ish and once up we were off to the castle which was quite near our hostel but a bit of a climb upwards. The Gibralfaro castle which looked out over Malaga was not very large castle and we managed to go around it in under an hour. With this done I needed a rest from the heat and the walking so with a couple of cold drinks down me we headed back to the hostel where I ended up falling asleep. Quick shower when I arose then it was scrambled eggs for dinner. We then decided to go have a pint on the beach as we were told there was going to be bonfires to celebrate the first weekend of summer. As we got to the beach we then found out that it was a full on concert which after a few drinks we found our selfs in the middle of the mosh pit. After raving for a few hours it was back to hostel for bed.
