Day 31, 13 July 2014, Oslo, Norway - Brussels, Belgium. On a plane and everything. Enjoyed lunch at a place called Jenson's Bofhus today. Essentially a steakhouse chain restaurant in Norway/Denmark/Sweden, it has quite possible the best meal deal in Norway - the lunch steak. Little 180gm steaky with a sauce and fried potatoes. And cutlery and a candle on the table. They also had a rustic gas fire burning in the restaurant - will definitely have to visit in winter at some point to enjoy it. Excellent lunch, even more so because it's that day. The day when all foreign funds must be spent. Showing just how good a deal lunch was even with a bit extra for a thimble of coleslaw (total 88krone), I bought a small mango smoothie at the railway station, for 30krone. Managed to spend 170krone on the express airport train to Oslo Airport - slick. Very, very slick. Right... checked in and through to Duty Free... 104 krone to go. The fun option would have been half a litre of booze... but darn it all I went for the sensible, frugal, grown-up option and put the coins towards sunscreen which I'll need in a month of so (219kr). Sensible. Economical. Frugal. Baahhhh!
(After negotiating the airport train, the metro and my neighbourhood and finally arriving at my superb hotel that simply must have been booked at a typo price... I had a Chinese takeaway, unpacked and went to bed... so pictured above is Brussel's 'Manneken Pis'... Apparently the 3rd most well known statue in the world after Lady Liberty and Michaelangelo's 'David'. Nobody knows why.)

James Hardie Belgium here we are, it is one of those places I have always wanted to go to, the little fella is cute, it's terrible when you have to be sensible.
