Awoke to another windy Mykonos day ready to allow the "holiday" part of this trip begin! Early start this morning for our "farewell Athens" breakfast! Decided to use the Metro again to the airport so allowed plenty of time. Bit of a much needed sleep in this morning, breaky and off we ventured for our trip out to the beach areas.We walked to Syntagma Square and from there caught a tram (cost EUR1.20 each) out to Glyfada. Took about an hour but was an interesting experience. Once the tram hit the coast was fascinating to see the beachside areas - all ensconced with sun lounges, umbrellas, cabanas etc - only to be enjoyed for a fee! Enjoyed our buffet breakfast at Attalos, sent a bag of washing off to be done then were off for the day by 9.30ish.Were flying blind but with map in hand just headed towards the Acropolis.
