The old town was fairly quiet this morning as we wandered around early to find some breakfast. Checked out the main points of interest, particularly the Marco Polo tower as a great view to the bell tower as well as part of this gorgeous town. Early start this morning for our expedition to Korcula. Bit apprehensive after the hold ups on our way over to Hvar but hopefully we had allowed adequate time. The hour and a half drive back to Sucuraj was much more pleasant this time despite meeting more oncoming vehicles - often very tight! Slept in till 8ish seeing as was a late finish last night. Our room is small but comfortable - Zorica and her family live upstairs. Put a load of washing on and wandered out to check out Hvar in daylight. OMG - it's divine! Every turn is yet another postcard scene! Just incredibly beautiful! Short stroll around the corner to port area and wow!.....certainly lifestyles of the rich and mega rich.....with plenty of young back packers thrown in! The yachts!! Amazing!...
