On 1st April, we did a boat trip to Halong Bay which was for an overnight stay on board, meals included. The boat was lovely and very calm so luckily I didn't spew! The food was all seafood and was delicious, as usually I'd choose a dish that I'm familiar with and not squid and crab! Today we left the the big smoke of Bangkok thailand and got a flight and arrived in Hanoi,Vietnam. its a massive culture change and you will struggle to find a white face. its unbelievably busy here, motorbikes and scotters are everywhere theres 86+ million people in the country and apparently every family has at least one. food and beer is again pretty cheap here and we picked up a essence meal for 170,000 dong which is about 6quid for both of us. still dont fee...

2nd full day in Bangkok today and the time is 15:07. last night we went out got hammered on buckets of rum... therefore i feel like i have been hit by a train. met some Japanese lads last night which were a good laugh, and i tried the hottest chilli in the world which one of them bought me and he was sick from the heat...classic.. oh and i ate a scorpion and a grasshopper last night from some stall...enough said signing out master blogger commander Bray 2nd ba...

Here we are in Khaosan Road, Bangkok in the D&D Hotel. The flights were comfortable, although very tiring! Our first night out was good fun, as soon as we got here we went to the bars which are lively but not as cheap as you'd imagine. I had my first ever Pad Thai dish which was lovely, but James tells me that's only a 5/10 so I'm looking forward to trying a 10!
