GCGills In South America
Another sunny morning. Got up relatively early to visit Belen market. A huge sprawling street market that supplies Iquitos with products. Each stall holding one kind of produce, but after 100 fish stalls Oliver was asking if they sell anything else, and they did- poultry, spices, vegetables, fruit, shoes, clothes. There was a whole street of cooked foods. They obviously after for the busy single cook as they did small packages of preprepared mixed vegetables,or just enough Dahll for one.
After an hour of wandering we did buy two oranges and a couple of badges. In some ways the best bit was seeing the bustle and smelling the smells.a great tuktuk ridgeback to the hotel for breakfast and to pack.

Sheila Gill Great to hear you are still enjoying yourselves. The market sounds fun. We are in middle of heat wave!
