Great morning for insects- thankfully we weren't bitten by any. Scorpion (miniature) crickets, butterfly's. Also tremendous landscape - lava explosions - where hot lava hit cold seawater.
Followed, after the usual struggle with wetsuits, by a fantastic snorkel. Rebecca doubled up her suit (wore 2) and wasn't 'cold' for a change. Watched a sea lion play with a shoal of fish- chasing it- but not actually catching any. Beautiful shoals - a watchful pelican observing all.
