Well it looks as though this may be our last postcard from London!  We are due to fly out on Friday, on our way to Egypt. Dean and I finish work on Wednesday and have some packing and loose ends to tie up before we fly out. We have had an amazing time here in London.

I cant believe it’s coming to an end already. We have made some great friends, and are really going to miss everyone.

On Friday, we went out for drinks with some work people as a ‘farewell’, and we met up with our friend Steve, as well as Vicki & Darryl & Belinda – we went out to dinner after that and had lots of fun, finishing up at the pub after dinner, and having more drinks! 

On Saturday, we took Belinda and Vicki out sightseeing, saw the London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, St Pauls etc. On Saturday night we went out for dinner for the last time to our favourite pizza place, Fire & Stone, and then to a little pub in Covent Garden, with our other friend Troy, and Vicki, Darryl & Belinda, We all ended up coming back to our flat after the pub shut at midnight (after a packed tube ride) – I think we all got to bed around 6am – and slept through all of Sunday…. Oops!  But we had a great time, which is the important thing! Even if we all were a little worse for wear the next day. 

Anyway – I think our next postcard will be from Egypt so until then…
