Day 9 - by Brett
Couldn't sleep last night, it was too quiet. Felt like sending one of the kids upstairs to run around for awhile. Started off with a lovely long walk along the beach esplanade, checking out the ocean views, and some of the lovely real estate. No white pointers today (unfortunately). It was a bit cooler today, but in the sun it was quite warm. Warm enough for t-shirt and shorts when walking. Laura's enjoying her new shoes, I had to pick up a slight jog to keep up. After all the exercise, we jumped in the pool, and spent a lot of time in there. We headed up to Surfers for a spot of lunch and a good look around. It was quite cool due to a strong breeze coming off the ocean. We then headed to one of the mini-golf courses that James has been wanting to visit since being here. We had a great time and it was a pretty cool setup. We grabbed some supplies on the way home, and cooked burgers with the lot on the outdoor barbie (not the kids toy). The resort contacted us today and has offered to clean our apartment for free after having to put up with the noise upstairs which is nice.
