Our night spent on the ranch was...well to be honest we are struggling for words to describe it!! Although it was no 5 star complex it more then made up for it with the stunning surroundings at the crack of dawn. We had a long trip to Erawan National Park and after an hour and a half and lack of footwear, we were told that there was a 5k walk up to the source of the seven waterfalls. It was not as bad as what we thought however some casualties were taken; adz thought he could run a log the width of his leg and then rapidly found out how to hurt it whereas Grillz equipped with flip flops ended up walking the majority bare foot.
In the end we reapt the rewards and had great fun swimming with fish and diving off huge boulders into crystal clear waters. The day went so fast and quickly became our favorite to date. Throughout the few days we spend on the trip we got to see how the Thai's live and how even with limited English they can still crack you up.
The driver that drove us back to Bangkok told us a great place to go nearby. We planned to go to an expensive mall so instead he recommended a huge market with great food and even dropped us off. We found a nice restaurant, which just so happened to house a few lady boys, five that were at the next table. Two minutes later and we had an offer from one "to take us both".....whatever that means and apparently for being so handsome it was offered "free of charge".
We went to the market for a browse and quickly learnt how to barter with a little assistance from the locals. There is so much to see and its all so tempting to buy, we just wished we were there last so we could have brought you all presents! Ping pong anyone!
