Today we decided to take in some culture by heading to the famous Thai temples. We took a short tuk tuk trip to the Chaophraya River to catch the taxi boat up to the Wat Phra Kaeo district where the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha stands. So we have arrived safe and sound in Thailand and apparently we left at just the right time. Upon leaving the UK the weather was diminishing fast, but they were kind enough to defrost the wings for us and off we went!
