Well Amsterdam turned out to be everything I'd thought it would be: sex, drugs, and cheese.

Walking around downtown, you would think you were in a different world! From sex museums, to pot cafes, to the infamous red light district, I couldn't help but wonder how well this city would go over in the US.

Although our meals we untraditional overall, we did sample some amazing cheeses and frites "fries" drenched in sweet mustard that was beyond tasty!

The highlight of our stay had to be the 2 and a half bike ride through the city. We rented bikes and, at our own risk, ventured through the busy city to Vondelpark. This park was wonderful! Other than the size, as the winding paths went on forever, there was ponds and trails, dog parks, and little ice cream trucks along the way. Although the ride there was a bit sketchy and I had a few close calls, the experience was definitely worth it!
