So we checked into our bnb in Dachau with no problem at all.

This morning we went to dachau concentration camp. It was a rather solemn experience. I think it was our last nazi thing of the trip. I will say I am impressed and taken a back by the German approach to this history. They just say what happened and leave it at that. There is no covering things up no soft pedalling apology. Just facts and figures and eye witness accounts. And a desire to remember.

In the afternoon we went to Munich took a walking tour and watched the glockenspiel. And then had supper at the hofbrau house. The royal brewery. It was good I had pork knuckle which was amazing and Pamela had spätzle with cheese. ( Bavarian Mac and cheese. It was all good and we got home reasonably early as tommorrow will be a long day.
