So Christmas was lovely, although a bit strange being on the beach for Christmas dinner. We had a fantastic three course dinner with proper chicken gravy, although not a patch on my mums (but nothing ever is). We went to the beach and had a sunny, lazy Christmas day. We definitely missed being at home but skyped everyone which made it feel more festive, especially Wooey's christmas songs :).
We went all out for my Birthday and Brett splashed out on a fancy hotel in a place call Siolim. It was beautiful and I had a massage and lots of G & T woohoo! Plus there was a pool and a hot shower which was bliss. There is only a cold shower in our hut so it was a real luxury. Plus they had marmite at breakfast, which may have been the best part. Not really much more to update other than the many animals we live with including:
a rat
cockroaches
frogs
a crab
a caterpillar
mosquitos
a bat
spiders
and I am sure many more which we haven't seen yet. It feels like Africa all over again.
Lots of love to everyone and wehope you had a wonderful Christmas.
xx

Barry & Kay Davies If it feels like Africa again, you must feel really at home. I hope Brett feels the same! Thanks for the info about the Jaisalmer Havelis. Very interesting. I'm just about to take a look at the latest Siolim pics so all the best to you both for a happy New Year and a safe & enjoyable journey to your next destination. Love from B & K
