Hi all sorry for such a long break, we have indeed turned into beach bums!
Ok lets start at Jailsalmer. So after a serious case of Delhi belly i finally felt well enough to venture out and we went on a camel trek. It was fantastic and we stayed out over night under the stars. Our guide took us to his home which was a mud hut in the desert with straw roof and his wife cooked our food. It was basic but a mile away from a 'tourist' experience and great. The only down sides were saddle sore and camel farts but you cant have everything :). We'll upload some photos!
After leaving our sand castle in Jaisalmer we headed to the westernised Mumbai. One day, one lethal bus and lovely train later, we arrived in the morning and found good accommodation (we were expecting to pay through the nose). So were pleasantly surprised. But stupidly only booked in for 1 night and being very competitive for the price, they let the room thinking we were leaving. So we ended up in the poorer, grubbier, although cheaper "cousin" residence downstairs. Which actually worked out ok as there were only 80 stairs to climb to our new pad, instead of the 100 to the plush place. Always looking at the positives. ha!
Anyway, we visited Elephanta Island where there are ancient temples carved into the caves, which was great, if a little on the dark side. Funnily though the crazy Indians ripped out the Elephant that gave the island its Portugese name andstuck it in a museum somewhere else on the mainland!!
We also saw the most amount of men playing cricket in a park in all the world! Quite a site!! See the photos uploaded. They don't quite do it justice but you get an idea.
We also checked out some Bollywood! All in Hindi of course and 3.5 hours long. It was called Ram Leela and the story of Romeo and Juliet (Brett loved that it was a love story and not Bullet Raja which was the only other film playing, i owe him one). The dancing and costumes were amazing!
We sampled some local tandoori chicken and i learnt the hard way that my 'no spice' and Indian 'no spice' differ somewhat. :)
Now we have arrived in Goa and are slowly turning into hippies! I have completed my 5 day yoga course (not for the faint hearted as its 5 hours a day starting at 8.30am).Its been great but hard work.
Brett has been running and chilling out in the restaurant/bar. The days seem to be merging and its very relaxing. Our only decision of the day is where to have dinner and we feel like this is what we worked so hard for.
We have rented a little bamboo hut on the beach where we get beautiful sunsets and have all manner of animals to make friends with including a crab who lives outside and frogs in the bathroom.Mum you would hate it!!
Anyway we'll update soon. Maybe after my next 5 days of yoga. Ill be like a pretzel after a month! :)

Barry Davies It's great to hear from you. Tonight my regular visit to the blog has not gone unrewarded! I gather you weren't too impressed with Mumbai. Goa sounds great but 5 hours of yoga??!! Not for the faint hearted!
Kirstie You absolutely deserve the rest you crazy people!!! Goa is lush, definitely one of my favourite places in the world xx Oh in Mumbai are there still thousands of people sat on the roofs as well as every space there is in The city?!
Fran Pearson All this just amazing and so exciting. Glad that you both aren't afraid to have a rest.
