On our fith day here in Mcleodganj/Dharamshala, Where exiled Tibetans incl. HH the 14th Dalai Lama dominate. Visited the Tibetan temple and compound here and even doing a spot of reading of books by the D.Lama to understand the culture a bit more. "Finding ourselves"? Not sure about that. But Stace found some parachute pants/trousers- photo to follow.
Very beautiful and peaceful hillside town at the top of a dead end with nice walks over hills through pine forests to neighbouring villages.
Took a short hike to a nearby yoga retreat only to find they have closed up for winter and shipped south to Goa ahead of us! Perhaps catch up with them there around Stace's birthday in a few weeks. Still, gave us the great photo opp. you see linked. Locals joke truckers are "looking for reincarnation" the way they drive..not sure they are joking!
Unfortunately we have to press on to Amristar on Weds. or we could easily stay here for months as many do. Definitely more leisurely than crazy Delhi.
Hope you are all well.
Love

Barry & Kay Davies I like the local humour. Glad all is going well. It's good to hear from you both. Do keep the blog entries coming. Love from B & K.
Mum and Dad Harrison Lovely to hear your news and glad you are enjoying Dharamsala. We loved the police sign, great sentiment. The locals sound a very jolly lot. Dad says if you do "find yourselves" please could you let him know and he'll head there; at 69 he still hasn't found himself!! Keep the entries coming We are really enjoying keeping up with your travels. Love you very much XXXXXXXXXX
