G'day

Last night we met our tour mates and went for something to eat and drink with some of them, which was nice. Decided to have an early night as tour started today- went to bed but couldnt sleep- we both only got about 2 hours if that!!!! The Nytol did not work!!! Though it prob didnt help that had 12 hours sleep the night before.

Our Aussie Explorer tour started today at 7.30am. Met everybody in the reception area. There is a mix of us, quite a few from the UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, Israel, etc. Everything seems very nice.

Today we visited two waterfalls in Litchfield National Park- the waterfalls were really nice, although the water was a little cold- but then that is good as its 35 degrees here!!!!

We have just arrived back at the hotel- tonight we have to share a room with another girl- called Hayley also on our tour- she seems nice so should be ok.

We are all going for a meal and then a pub for a good first night drinking session- but up early in the morning for our journey to Kakadu.

There is a good chance that you might not hear from us for a few day as we are travelling out to the outback - there are few internet cafes and quite often mobiles do not work (according to our rep) so do not worry if you do not hear from us- we will update this as soon as we can.
