G'day

After we last wrote, we took a wander up Mitchell Street, which is the main street in Darwin for malls, bars and restaurants!!

We found a nice Irish Bar - Shennanigans, and had our alcoholic drinks!! We didnt stay long as we were absolutely tired, having been up for over 24hours due to flight times!!!!

Today, we woke up at 11.30am (12 hours sleep) which was well needed!!!

Again we took another wander up Mitchell Street, stopping for our BLT - without the bacon!!!! lol We manged to withdraw some money ready for our tour which starts tomorrow. Getting quite nervous now. We also found a small harbour, but not that great so we thought we'd come and leave you guys a message!!!

Heading back to our Hotel to get ready for our briefing with the Contiki rep tonight which is at 5, hopefully will get to meet the rest of the contiki crew.

We have both decided it doesn't feel like we are actually in Australia, perhaps it is just Darwin or the area we are in!

Not sure when we will beable to write again depends if the other hotels have computers or whether we have to go to an internet cafe etc.
