G'day

Yesterday we got our wish of sunshine and therefore caught the bus to Palm Beach!!! Yay! As some of you might know this is where Home and Away is filmed (or some of it anyway). Here we saw the Surf Club - the famous walk way down to the beach plus the fence and green!! lol We layed on the famous beach for a bit, but unfortunately there was no filming that day but were told it was going to happen the next day - gutted!! We had great fun watching Home and Away last night spotting where we had been.

After Palm Beach we caught the bus to Manly Beach, which was cool! We grabbed an ice cream and sat on the beach - which was a lot more crowded before catching the bus back to Sydney!

Last night we went to the Minus 5 bar. There we sat in a freezing cold bar for half an hour with loads of different ice sculptures around us! It was minus 10 there last night. We got to have Vodka Cocktails in an ice glass!!

Today we had a lay-in and got up at 8.30!!! Wahay! We did a bit of updating blog and managed to add at least 20 pictures in two hours for you guys! Now having another go as found a quicker internet cafe. We visited Hyde Park which had several memorials and then sunbathed in the park before we made a spontanious decision and headed towards the Sky Tower!!! There we decided to do the Sky Walk, the Sky Tower and the Oz Trek - the Sky Tower included a panoramic view of Sydney inside the building. The Sky Walk included being kitted out with another sexy wind proof suit and walking on glass around the building, again seeing the Sydney sights. This was quite scary at times as the guide got us to jump up and down on the glass!!! The Tower is twice the height of the Sydney Harbour Bridge - 60 fully grown giraffes standing on top of one another!!!!!! Finally the Oz Trek included an amazing virtual reality ride across Australia.

Tomorrow we plan to visit the Botanical Gardens and then we have booked a Whale Watching Cruise for the afternoon. Fingers crossed we will see them!!
