G'day.

Sorry that we haven't updated this for a while - we have been really, really busy plus the internet costs loads in a lot of the places we have been staying!!

Since we wrote last, we spent a couple of days relaxing in Surfers Paradise. We had a really nice hotel there! As we wrote last time, we were booked in to each do a Tiger Moth flight which loops the loop but unfortunately it was cancelled due to a faulty plane. We were both gutted- and had been so excited it was a bit of a let down. But never mind. Instead we went to the beach - and sure enough as we arrived on the beach the sun went in.....Surfers Paradise had 300 days of full sunshine each year...we would get one of the days that the sun decides to go in!We sat down on the beach and Teresa had a sleep before going to do a little bit of shopping!

Had a couple of nights out in Surfers Paradise- went to a Ladys Night club where all girls got free champagne! We both enjoyed Surfers and would go back.

After Surfers we left and travelled to Byron Bay - the most laid-back place in Australia. It was really nice there- we had some fish and chips- which were good!

We have also stopped in Brisbane - for shopping.

The night before last we stayed at Mojo's Surf camp- and had a surf lesson yesterday morning. What an experience!?!? Teresa could surf. Lindsay couldn't! We have got a good picture of Teresa standing up.

Yesterday after surfing we travelled for quite a while on the coach to get to our final night destination on the Aussie Explorer tour. We are now in Shoal Bay/Port Stephens. Last night we stayed in a 4.5 star hotel- which was rather nice. We have this morning free to wonder the town before heading to Sydney where the tour ends. We have then got 7 days free in Sydney. Once in Sydney we will add pictures (promise).
