Awesome day! We started at Intel - the birthplace of the microchip. Very impressive. Ms Loveday had the fastest hand swipe at 34 million nanoseconds.

Made everyone's day when we headed to a Westfield (yes they have them here too) shopping centre. Almost everyone left with a shopping bag - some had 2. Well done Emma Tully. But shopping savvy award goes to Olivia Beaumont.

After a spot of lunch we headed to The Tech Museum which was really a huge fun parlour full of interactive science and technology devices.

It's great not having to collect our change for public transport. It was fun to use trolley cars etc in San Francisco, but having a driver and transport is great.

Tonight, girls went shopping at the Safeway grocery store for some 'eat in' healthy foods.

Back at the hotel, some believed they spotted Snoop Doggy Dog in the ihop carpark and made Ms Loveday and Mrs Coleman ask him who he was. After much laughing with the look alike they had stalked, a photo with the IGGS clan was a must. ihop is the pancake restaurant attached to our Santa Clara hotel.

The hotel is very comfy. Nice rooms and great services. There is an outdoor pool and although it's heated, no one has been game enough to enter. On arrival, they gave us a patty cake tower. Very friendly. Basically, we are happy with getting free wi-fi absolutely everywhere we go.

Highlights too many to name. The 'Nerd Herd' are on tour.
