Sorry we haven't blogged we've been manic!

From getting lost about 100,000 times with our 25kg suitcases in the 30 degree heat to sunbathing on bondi beach.

Our first stop Newtown was lovely other than the fact we got the dates mixed up and paid for the night we were actually still flying! (What joeys!)

We arrived 9am stifling hot sun, jet lag hit we fell asleep and woke up at 4pm huge thunder storm and torrential rain! So we found a nice little place to eat and chill and took in the atmosphere.

We found a fab gym in Newtown trained there for free! then got the bus and an amazing ferry at the CBD to our next place of stay; Rosebay. After 4 hours of getting lost walking around in circles with no wifi trying to find our accommodation we finally found it crashed for 4 hours.. ending up at the best Thai takeaway Ryan could imagine! Especially after not eating for 12 hours we enjoyed our tea and went back to the room to sleep some more.

Next stop.. you don't even want to know.. our helpx accommodation is a 2 bedroom granny flat, bit of foam on the floor for a bed, the only bonus is the view from balcony - see pics.

We are scheduled to stay here for 12 days although this won't be happening as we cannot bare the dirtiness and the 3 inch piece of foam we're sleeping on. Let alone being expected to care for her mother with Parkinson's, dementia and is completely bed bound -all day and night! Especially as this was not in the ad when we signed up!

Well anyway we've found accommodation for the 23rd-3rd a short ferry ride from the CBD with waterfront views, no work although pay, but will be worth it when we can actually begin to do our amazing tourist things we came out here to do!

Today we've been sunbathing and in the sea at bondi beach - it's breathtaking! We're abit pink and Ryans face is a tomato but we're loving every minute!

That reminds me.. nanny Rundle .. I can't find any tomatoes like yours !!

We're currently sat on bondi beach bar front enjoying the amazing views and soon off to get something to eat!
