This morning we sadly left Galapagos, we said goodbye to Kev and boarded our flight back to Quito. Today was our full day on Isabella Island. We began our tour at 8 and Andres took us to many places around the south of the Island. We finally saw some flamingos, they were all eating shrimps in a lagoon making some funny noises! Last day of the cruise :(. We were up mega early at 5:30am and on an island walking round by 6am. We saw blue footed boobies and frigrate birds again, and although we have seen these a lot on our cruise, today we saw something special as the male frigate birds inflated their red necks and the blue footed boobies were carrying out courting displays. Having only travelled for an hour last night the boat was a lot calmer and we had our first good nights sleep. After breakfast we went on the dingy to a wet landing where we saw lava tunnels, this is where the lava on top cools and goes hard but inside it is still hot and flowing and so leaves a hollow tunnel.
