565 kms / 8 ½ hrs

I felt very tired this morning after our late night last night but we still managed to start driving at 8am. I had planned for us to only travel 300 kms today but we weren't doing any sightseeing and because it was only a driving day Rog wanted to keep driving further.

We refuelled in Elliot then drove south to Three Ways (refuelled and had lunch sitting under a nice shady tree) then turned east to head towards the NT/QLD border and Mt Isa. There wasn't anything exciting to note on the drive today.

We are stopped at a rest area about 100 kms from the QLD border and we feel safe again tonight as plenty of caravans around.
