Today was a pretty flat day. I was supposed to meet two of my classmates and see them off from the bus station. Anyway, we got mixed up. I tried to go to their guesthouse to see if they were still there, but the girl who worked there was being a little smartarse. She wouldn't let me in, still angry at me from the weekend when I kind of woke up everyone in their guesthouse (but that's another story).
Saigon is a dangerous place to go for a walk. I was nearly killed twice today. I walked under a construction site without realising it and nearly had a massive rock fall on my head. Then when I was walking home, I narrowly missed being pulversied by a speeding truck. The trucks are the worst traffic offenders here, they really are crazy.
Another thing I've noticed about Saigon is that there are so many Canadians here! Don't be suprised if when I come back to Oz I have a Canadianized Aussie accent. I have never met so many Canadians in the one place. Not that I have anything against Canadians. They remind me a lot of Aussies. I mean, it could be worse. They could be Americans...
