The boat to Ko Phi Phi was ramed with fellow youngsters, all stripped off down to their bikini's, and shorts, and it seemed, when we arrived, thigs were little different. Initially, we had a really positive vibe about this small island, whuich Lonely Planet told us would 'evoke tears' due to its amazing beauty. The town itself, I have to say is, quite quaint, - like that Martin? No roads, no traffic, except a few locals racng around on bicycles dtermined to knock...

Well, there was certainly no chance of missing the next flight, as we were actually staying within the airport itself. And, so a few hours later, we had arrived in Phuket and checked into a hotel, and planned to make plans. It's monsoon season here at the moment, so for now, we plan to play it by weather, and hope for the best. Well here I am and finally up to date on my blog. Back in Bangkok, for the third time now, and it's now beginning to feel like a saftey net in a way, somewhere that I'm beginning to get to know a little vetter each time I visit. The following morning we were headed for the party island home to the legendary Full Moon Parties - Koh Phan-gan. An early start, and a half ten, one hour boat ride across to it's neighbouring smaller island, we arrived, sweaty and tired. Our hotel was located in the north-west of the island, known to be a small cove that was once inhabited by pirates. We had booked this before commencing our trip through recommendations, as full moon parties are a sell out event...

So it was finally time for some full on beach action, and Koh Samui was the destination of choice. We bussed it there, as the flight cost a fortune, and the bus and ferry were less than fourteen pound - not bad for a fifteen hour journey.
