We arrived in Madrid yesterday and we didn't do very much because we got in at 5 after our huge bus ride. This morning we went on a tour of the city and a palace tour but I was a little too sick to enjoy myself as a few of us got food poisoning from a paella the night before and I was ill with the flu! WOOO 2 hours sleep, 10 hour trip to Barcelona and early mornings are great! But fortunately we lost about 11 people in Barcelona so lots of bus room! Not really lost but 4 didn't wake up and are training, 5 went on the train to reach Madrid before Real Madrid play in the evening and then another 2 last minute decided to fly ? Ha! But more legs space for me on the back seat! We are traveling with stops all day.. With a lunch stop in Zaragosa* which should be good...

I had the most amazing day! Even though there was no wake up call there is no point in sleeping in and not getting around in this amazing city! With Samir, Umy and Vinny I went to the huge Central Park which is really close to our hotel. It was BEAUTIFUL! You could see over the city and you could spend hours there! After that my friends wanted Togo to Barcelona stadium "camp Nou" which is one of the most amazing stadiums in the world. The excitement they had HAHA...

AHH SPAIN TODAY! I am so keen and can actually not believe that we are here. After a 6 hour bus trip with a few other stops and the crossing of the border we finally made it and got 3-4 hours alone in the city before going to a tapas bar overlooking the city with magnificent food like breads,salads, gaspacho, and cheesecake! YUM! Apparently the nightlife in Spain doesn't really start till about 1am and it's common to have dinner after 10pm so it might take some ...
