We arrived in Madrid yesterday and we didn't do very much because we got in at 5 after our huge bus ride.

This morning we went on a tour of the city and a palace tour but I was a little too sick to enjoy myself as a few of us got food poisoning from a paella the night before and I was ill with the flu!

We were meant to go to the ancient city of Toledo, but I went home to rest because tomorrow is a huge day of traveling and tonight was the farewell for contiki!

We went out and gr some Burger King when I woke up at 4:30 for a snack then later went into the city with contiki for an awesome tapas dinner with capsicum, onion straws, potato, calimari rings and salmon with an awesome desert! SOO GOOD!

We then headed out to a salsa bar in the city to spend the last night together. I have to be up at 530 to travel to Sweden but I had to spend some time with my awesome new friends before staying goodbye! At about 230 we left and did the quick goodbyes to avoid tears and went off on our way!

I freaking love contiki! I love the tour and the people that were on it with us. Amazing!
