Well we arrived in Bremer Bay on Thursday and scored a couple of days of awesome weather, perfect for a bit of 4wdriving to some pristine beaches. We spent a few hours at Peppermint beach which has to one of the nicest I have seen, Ruby scared the life out of us walking straight in to the ocean without any fear, got dumped by a tiny wave and got up and walked straight back in.Misti at the caravan park hooked us up with a fantastic spot and took care of us during our stay.
Unfortunately the bad weather set in on Saturday and we spent a lazy day hanging around the van, reading books and doing a bit of b***** all. This was also the day our new neighbours arrived at the caravan park, we named them the Flanders. It was bible studies before and after every meal with some long winded discussions about the passages they just read - a little bit different to the conversations Nath and I have! The rest of the time they spent staring at us, a pair of sinners I guess! We ended up putting up the kitchen canvas walls so we could get away from their prying eyes - they were starting to freak us out.
Nath caught a stack of fish ata beautiful spot called Stream Beach where we met another couple with a little one - we all ended up at the pub for a few beers and they came over for fish dinner, a great day all round. We head off through Fitzgerald River National Park tomorrow and on to Esperance - I hope the weather gets a bit warmer.Beats working though!
