Day one!We cruised out of Dunsborough mid morning headed for Denmark.It was a beautiful drive through Nannup and Pemberton and felt great to finally be on the road.We arrived in Denmark to stay with our friends Kylie and Todd (although Todd was off working - poor b*****!) and caught up with Megs and Aiden and their mates Meilei and Coops.We had a great night catching up with mates over a barbie and it was a perfect ending to our first day on the road.

The next day we drove back down as far as Walpole to do a bit of sightseeing.We stopped at the giant Tingle Tree and lookout.It was HUGE.Next stop was Conspicuous cliffs which was a beautiful sight - we climbed up to the top of the look out (luckily Nath had the job of carrying Ruby), took in the view and headed off to Peaceful Bay.We drove along the beach and just wished it was warmer - Nath still went for a swim while I stayed rugged up on the shoreline, I thought it was supposed to be Summer!We did a bit of 4wdriving down to a beautiful spot called boat ramp, for obvious reasons.The water was crystal clear and surrounded by huge smooth rocks perfect for basking on (not this time though due to th rain).

This morning we went down to Parry'sBeach and did some fishing in the inlet with Coops, Meilei and their little boy Jai who is 4 days older than Ruby.There was a few fish caught, but not the right size so we chucked it in after a few hours and headed off to Greens Pool.This spot is an unreal swimming lagoon, totally protected from the Ocean by huge boulders.There were plenty of people there and kids doing swimming lessons - Ruby chose this time to crack it so we hoofed it back to the car and came home so she could deal with herself in her cot.

So here we are - a bit of pottering this afternoon and then another barbie with friends tonight.Tomorrow we head off to Bremer Bay for just a bit more relaxation.Aaaaaahhhh - this is the life!
