Arriving at Friday harbor was quite an experience as this was our first time on a seaplane, the landing was very smooth and we will probably do it again one day. After arriving we joined a whale watching tour and saw an abundance of wild life, such as sea lions, hump back whales, a school of orcas and a bald eagle. When we got back to shore after a spot of lunch we headed to the Lakesdale Resort lodge, where we spent the night in a cosy wood cabin. The next morning we flew back to Seattle on Kenmore airlines and were lucky enough to get a birds eye view of a school of orcas.
