Dusseldorf 19 - 21 June 2009

Patriza has moved to Dusseldorf so a short weekend visit was on the cards, we randomly chose the summer Soltice weekend and there was a great atmosphere in and around town. There were market stalls all along the Rhein river and Claudia and I ended up buying some unique pieces of jewelry. We were also treated to a Hot air ballon sound and light show on the banks of the Rhein. on the Saturday we picked up Patrizia's cousin Isabelle and went to Koeln for the day, Stefan Hoederline was exibiting close by so it would have been rude not to stop by and check it out. We didn't actually expect him to be there but he was and recognised us straight away, I suppose we haven't changed much since 1996. hehe... On Sunday morning on route to the airport Patrizia took us to cafe Sol for brunch and we ended up spending three hours just relaxing and catching up, we will definatley go back there again.
