That was us, feeling rather silly with ourselves as we missed our bus. Neither one of us were thinking properly.
Bus stopped at Codorba (incidentally a town we were thinking of visiting while in Sevilla) and we just sauntered to the coffee bar for coffee and churrillos. Very oily, the churrillos. We coolly mentioned that we should be going back to the bus .. even made a remark about how we would feel if we missed it. That came soon enough as bus was no longer there.
Never saw Lee Kuen ran that fast. I was slower as I was hoping bus might return, just like the other one before. At the counter, we were very lucky to bump into a very very helpful English couple who spoke Spanish. Or rather, Lee Kuen barged her way through. If it weren't for the couple, we would not have been able to communicate with the Alsa lady behind the counter.
So luckily we had our tickets. Bags will be left at Ubeda, not Baeza which is our destination as Baeza does not have locks nor office. But we had to wait for next bus in 6 hours time. And there is no guarantee that office will be opened.
Paul was great. He went to Ubeda to try to retrieve our bags. But no, bus driver changed shifts in Linares and decided to leave it in an office there. Poor Paul drove to Linares which was further. We only found out about this when we went back to counter as instructed.
But we managed to get to Linares and met Paul who patiently waited for 4 hours for us. What a start to our first workaway experience!
